ART, FASHION & MUSIC

I once heard a visual art lecturer from one of the Eastern Nigerian universities say that music has noting to do with visual art. Hmmm! Could this be true? Well, popular Nigerian singer and song writer who describes his genre of music as urban highlife is now a visual evidence against such statement. Adekunle Kosoko known as his stage name Adekunle Gold who's 2014 single "Sade" received massive airplays on various Nigerian radio stations, also holds a Higher National Diploma  in Arts and Design after graduating from Lagos State Polytechnic as a graphic designer.

In 2015, he was nominated in the Most Promising Act of the Year category at the 2015 City People Entertainment Awards, and was also nominated in the "Best Alternative Song" category which he won at The Headies 2015 for his song titled "Sade".

He stands out as a top celebrity with his fashion sense influenced by Art and the African environment he finds himself as he is always found in tie & dye tops and t-shirts. Lovely I must say!

Kudos to our very own Artist Celebrity.

Selected singles:
"Sade" (2014)
"Orente" (2015)
"Pick Up" (2015)
